Members must accept the responsibility to act as an advocate on behalf of the youth and women that participates through the Esther Ministries. All information will be kept in the strictest confidence even after you are no longer a memeber of the Esther Ministries. We are waiting on you, take your position!
Board of Directors
New members of the Board shall be appointed by the existing Board and/or the Founder as the need arises.All Board members must be chosen and accepted on the basis of standards of conduct, commitment to service and code of ethics.
Advocates for Abstinence Education Committee
What is an advocate?
·A person who works on behalf of something or someone
·One that pleads the cause of another
·One that defends or maintains a cause or proposal
·One that supports or promotes the interests of another
Who can be an advocate?
·Anyone who believes in Abstinence Only Education
·Must be people with voices and willing to take a stand
·Must be consistent, dedicated and willing
Abstinence Goals
Increase the number of adolescents who are making positive choices to remain sexually abstinent until marriage and have the refusal and assertiveness skills they need to resist sexual urges and advances.
Reduce the number of adolescents that have contracted Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Infections.
Increase the number of parents and significant adults participating in abstinence only education and
abstinence promoting activities.
Increase community commitment and support for abstinence only education and abstinence promoting activities.
